When I decided to purchase a new sign for our church in memory of my husband, I drove around taking pictures of some that I liked. I always admired one that I liked on my way to church in Coldwater so I phoned the church to see where they had purchased it. When I contacted “Buy Direct Signs” I received the needed information immediately and found them an excellent company to work with. Once they received the information they needed from me to complete the order my sign was on its way! Needless to say, my family as well as my church and community are very pleased with the sign and it is a tribute and memorial that will last for many years to come.
When you lose a loved one, your thoughts turn to what kind of a memorial and tribute you can leave to honor that person. Thank you for your on-going support to Andrew J. Puetz’s Eagle Scout Project.
First, Andrew Puetz had his volunteers (Jon Puetz, Lori Puetz, Eric Puetz and Jeremy VanZee) show up at the main road to the New Grove Cemetery (with Church Board member’s permission) early on Saturday morning. The group worked on the installation of a new sign for the cemetery. The formal sign, was properly constructed and the sign looks great... Also, Andrew and volunteers to work on slight repairs to one of the older tombstones, that were recently damaged from vandalism. Those repairs went very well, and the potted plant holder look better. Attached is a photograph of the sign. Which again, looks great…

Here is the photo taken of the sign install. The sign was installed Saturday at a 103 year-old church in NE Kansas City undergoing a slow rehab with volunteers. Not the nicest part of town, which is why we are there. The original monument sign was long gone, and what was there was a 4x8 sheet of plywood painted white, with no lettering on it. We’ve gotten a lot of favorable comments from people in the neighborhood – smiles, honks, waves, “nice new sign” comments all well deserved. Hope you enjoy the picture as much as we enjoy the sign.
Thanks for including the lamps with it – saved us the trouble of finding and installing them. The sign is nice and bright at night.

I am a sixteen-year-old Boy Scout working toward my Eagle Scout rank. My Eagle Scout project involved purchasing and installing a new street sign in front of one of the local middle schools in my area. We were in dire need of a new sign as our existing one was over 30 years old and pretty awful looking. Our sign is one of the first things people see and we wanted that first impression to be a good and lasting impression.
